Biography

Anna Durante is an intuitive self-taught artist living in Memphis, Tennessee with her husband and two daughters.  Anna picked up her paint brushes late in life after a long career in GIS and Program Management.  She likes to layer in various media types mostly acrylic and let her intuition and emotion guide her through the painting, adding bold shapes and quiet conversations to each piece.  Her work encompasses abstract, floral, and landscape paintings.

Fun Fact: ABR are my birthname initials. In my younger years I would sign all of my work "ABR," so when I started painting after many years, it felt natural to still sign paintings with "ABR."
